Born in North Dakota to a Presbyterian Minister, Scott Ganyo started his career on the stage in Indianapolis. His first break came when he joined the Actor's Theater of Indiana for their production of Forever Plaid. Nuvo Magazine called Scott's performance "impressive" and the Indianapolis Star raved that he "sings like an angel." More stage work followed including joining ComedySportz as an regular improvisor.
Scott soon turned his focus to film and quickly landed his first role in Woodworks Films' "Open Mic'rs." More roles followed - including Cinephreak Pictures' award-winning "Foxxy Madonna vs the Black Death" where Scott played Gabriel, a hit man/priest working to save the world. Scott's strong work and reputation gained notice and he was soon being consistently cast as the leading man. His ability to nail the "everyman" lead to starring roles in films such as "First They Came for...", "Shade of Grey", and "Zorg and Andy," while his range allowed him to embrace diverse roles as a backstabbing drug dealer, a fatherly priest, a sadistic serial killer... and even the comic superhero Batman.
Flush with midwest successes, Scott next moved west to Los Angeles. In his first few months there he secured an agent and booked his first television credit as a Guest Star on Comedy Central's "Mind of Mencia."
Scott continues to push his promising career in entertainment forward as both an actor and producer in the Los Angeles area.
