Agent referrals?
Hey everyone, I’m on the hunt for a good theatrical agent in Los Angeles and I need your help!
If you know anyone or know anyone who knows anyone that has a relationship with an agent here, I could really use a referral to help get some attention.

I have no contacts to offer you… but I do have an idea.
Agents work with casting directors (and other decision makers who ultimately hire you). Next time you are on an audition, why not ask them to recommend you someone? Something like “Hey, I just recently moved out to LA and my current agent isn’t really doing so hot - I know you talk to agents all the time, is there 1 or 2 that you could recommend that stands out to you as a good present to represent me?”
I totally don’t have a firm understanding of what makes acting tick, but the idea is to interview people who use agents on the other side of the fence and see if you can get a good recomendation that way…
