Onlinespokesperson.com

Hey… I forgot this before, but I’ve also done a few new things for onlinespokesperson.com. I’ve done a few new client gigs (which aren’t on the site yet), but I also updated my video profiles and now have had photos taken for them. It’s a whole lot nicer than before, so check it out if you get a chance and let me know what you think!

Goodbye Chauvelin

As promised, we wrapped The Scarlet Pimpernel Sunday. And what a time we had on that show! We were able to throw caution to the wind and really let ourselves enjoy performing the show without worrying about having to save some for the next show. The audience really appreciated it as well - they were right there with us cheering and jeering their way to our best audience yet! In fact, I believe it may have been our best show of the run - allowing us to close the show with a standing ovation!

A big thank you to everyone in the crew and cast for the opportunity to work with them on such a fun and fantastic show!

Kevin Spacey quits acting!

Kevin Spacey - one of the best actors in tinsel-town - has decided that he’s had it with Hollywood and is retiring to an artistic director position at the Old Vic Theatre in London. Wow. I’m so disappointed I won’t have the opportunities to see Kevin’s fantastic talents applied to new roles. I do with him the best, however. And there is no doubt that the Old Vic is better for it. Still, I wonder…

…does this mean there is there a new opening in Hollywood…? ;-)

More reel updates!

I’ve redone my reel again with tighter editing and added some GREAT new footage from the film “Dependence” that I did a couple months ago. Seriously, you’ll love it so check it out!

By the way, I had also wanted to also include a clip from Shade of Grey, but the clip I just received from the director didn’t have any audio! Sigh. I’ll let you know when I get a good clip and update the reel.

And one more note: Remember there is only one weekend left to see The Scarlet Pimpernel! The prior audiences have loved it - you will too! And did I mention that I won’t be doing any more stage shows anytime soon? So this may be your last chance to see me on stage… but there are only 3 performances left, so get your tickets now! See you there!

Website update

Just a quick update: I’ve finally gotten around to updating my website. Nothing huge, just some stuff I needed to get out there:

  • I added a “Recent News” box with on my landing (home) page
  • I updated my resume with my latest stuff (doh! Except my ComedySportz association. Guess I still have a little to do!)
  • I’ve added the commercial I did for the Indiana Convention and Visitors Association (ICVA) into my reel.

The procrastinator’s creed

  1. I believe that if a thing is worth doing, it would have been done already.
  2. I shall never move quickly, except to avoid more work or find excuses.
  3. I will never rush into a job without a lifetime of consideration.
  4. I shall meet all of my deadlines directly in proportion to the amount of bodily injury I could expect from missing them.
  5. I firmly believe that tomorrow holds the possibility for new technologies, astounding discoveries, and a reprieve from my obligations.
  6. I truly believe that all deadlines are unreasonable regardless of the amount of time given.
  7. I shall never forget that the probability of a miracle, though infinitesimally small, is not exactly zero.
  8. If at first I don’t succeed, there is always next year.
  9. I shall always decide not to decide, unless of course I decide to change my mind.
  10. I shall always begin, start, initiate, take the first step, and/or write the first word when I get around to it.
  11. I obey the law of inverse excuses which demands that the greater the task to be done, the more insignificant the work that must be done prior to beginning the greater task.
  12. I know that the work cycle is not plan/start/finish, but is wait/plan/plan.
  13. I will never put off until tomorrow what I can forget about forever.

(Perhaps this creed applies to you if you haven’t seen The Scarlet Pimpernel yet! Only TWO MORE WEEKENDS!)
